Membership in the Fort Wayne Valley Knights of Saint Andrew is open to all 32° Scottish Rite Freemasons who have obtained it under a legal Charter recognized by the Fort Wayne A.A.S.R

Information for Active:
Only those who started in the Council as 32nd Degree Masons and were honored while a member of the Council are privileged to wear the Glengarry Bonnet and cock feathers.
* 32nd Degree:
Membership is limited to 32nd Degree Freemasons and will abide by the by-laws and those approved by the Sovereign Grand Inspector General. This 32nd Degree membership will be the active or voting portion of the Council.
Non-Active:
At NO time will a MSA or 33rd Degree be taken in membership. However, all members, regardless of their titles and rank or hat colors, CAN hold the honor of associative membership in this Council if they are either elected to Honors while a Council member, or specially selected and approved by the current Council members. And then, ONLY as a non-voting Honorary.
* Honors:
When Council members are elected to Honors they may no longer vote or be elected to office. They may however, continue to wear their Glengarry Bonnet and Tartan Swatch with the Knights of St. Andrew emblem.
1) MSA:
Those of the Council, who are awarded the decoration of MSA:, will become an associate member.
A red feather will replace one of the white ones in his bonnet, when he wears his Glengarry at
the Council meetings. This is to encourage members to reach for the honors.
2) 33rd Degree:
Likewise, those who are honored with the 33rd Degree will also become as associate member
and be distinguished with a gold and white feather in their bonnet.
* Honors while in Office:
If a Council member is in office when he receives Honors, he may continue in office until the end of his term.
